Share Savings Account
Your Share account, maintained at a minimum of $50.00, represents your partial ownership in the credit union. Your share savings works just like a regular passbook account, but as an owner, you earn quarterly dividends often higher than interest paid elsewhere. No other services with the credit union can be offered unless this $50.00 minimum is maintained. (See Fees & Charges link at right for information regarding dormant accounts and other fees.)
Youth Savings
Our Youth Savings account is designed especially for members ages 18 years and younger. This special club helps teach the value of saving money and can be opened with a minimum deposit of $20.00.
College Savings
This account lets you save for college expenses and earn a higher rate on dividends. Allows three withdrawals per year.
Christmas and Vacation Club
Save money all year long for your next vacation or for holiday shopping. This account receives a higher rate on dividends and you can use payroll deduction to make automatic deposits on a regular basis. A fee is imposed for any withdrawal taken before disbursement. Disbursements are transferred directly into your share savings account, unless otherwise specified by the member.
Certificates of Deposit
For the serious saver, A CD allows you to lock in a higher interest rate for a fixed period of time. Terms of 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months are available. Check the Rates & Fees page for current rates.
Checking Products
Totally FREE Checking
After opening a savings account with the Credit Union, take part in our Totally FREE Checking. No minimum balance, no monthly fees, and no maximum withdrawal limit. You can take advantage of Payroll Deduction or Direct Deposit, and ATM access. This service is totally free to the Saint Luke's Credit Union membership and we would like everyone to take part in this service.
We're always looking for ways to make banking with us as easy and convenient as possible for our members. Beginning September 5, 2006, we will provide you with a valuable new service—Overdraft Privilege—for your checking account. MORE
Money Market
The Money Market account features the same advantages as Totally FREE Checking, but a minimum deposit and balance of $1500.00 is required. Dividends accrue daily and are paid quarterly.
How It Works
Dividends accrue daily from the business day you deposit funds to your account, and are credited to your account quarterly. Dividends are determined by the Board of Directors each quarter. A maximum of six (6) withdrawals per month is allowed. If on any given day of the month, the balance in this account falls below the $1,500.00 minimum balance, a $25.00 service fee will be assessed.
VISA® Debit/Check Card
The VISA® Check Card is the most convenient way to do your grocery shopping, purchase gasoline, shop on the Internet, and much more. With the Saint Luke's Credit Union VISA® Debit/Check Card, you can purchase items just like using a credit card but have the money debited out of your account. You can withdraw up to a maximum amount of $2500.00 per day. If you have a Totally FREE Checking account with the Credit Union, sign up for a card today.
ATM Card
The Saint Luke's Credit Union ATM Card is one of the more popular products of the Credit Union. The first card will be ordered free of charge. If the ATM used is one of our "surcharge free" machines, the first four transactions a month will be free. Each additional transaction incurs a $1.00 charge. For a listing of "surcharge free" ATM's visit the Co-op Network. Maximum daily withdrawal: $500.00 from any facility ATM, and $1000.00 daily from any Co-op Network ATM.
Note: We do not accept ATM deposits into our machines, or in any foreign machines, including the CO-OP Network of ATMs.
